I want to make things for my fishing kajak and our caravan using Einstar2. I have a underwater camera and a sonar thatI need to build a safe holder for on the kajak and 3d print. In the caravan which I bought this summer I want to scan the interior to be able to build different things like a holder for the reverse camera screen and garmin screen. And of course 3d print ---

As a big 3D printing entheusiast I think a 3D scanner like the Einstar 2 is a great addition to my toolbox! I would use it for some art projects combining nature objects with geometric design. Making products and projects with purpose like lamps or accessories! ---

I would scan the intake manifold side of the engine in my Suzuki Samurai, to 3d print and subsequently cast an adapter for individual throttle bodies. That, or scan my VEGA, to make an insert for my packout box. ---

I would scan my friends McLaren M8B and use it to make molds for my McLaren M8B replica that is slightly different to make it perfect.Then I have hundreds of more projects that need scanned. ---

Einstar has honestly made a huge difference for us. Weā€™ve been using it for our product development, and the results speak for themselves: over 20 tools verified without the usual headaches of manual measurement and CAD documentation. Thatā€™s a lot of time we got back to actually focus on building things. The bigger win? Weā€™ve designed and produced nine new products that we literally couldnā€™t have made without it. Some of these required reverse engineering parts where we had no existing CAD data, and Einstar handled it. What I appreciate most is that itā€™s actually easy to use. Iā€™ve been having problems scanning stainless steel equipment with my faithful Einstar, for context I often have to reverse engineer old equipment for pharmaceutical clients. Since it is pharma, I canā€™t use scanning spray and rely on stick on dots when Iā€™m OKā€™d to use those (only approved about 10% of the time due to contamination concerns!). So would love to use the Einstar 2 to see if I can improve my workflow and reduce the time it takes to get reliable scans! ---

There are these 3 kitchen tools unworking cause of braked transmision pieces, and I would start by ricomponing and scaning those pieces so that the tools can be fixed. ---
