Mac EXStar 1.1.2-19 textures not working and file corruption if opening project folders from a backup

I’ve backed up the project folders on my M4 MacBook Pro to an external SSD drive. Opening a couple of the projects on the external drive (using Open Project group button) the point clouds show accurate texture but the model texture preview and resulting texture is just images of the room surrounding the object. I’ve tried re-doing the texture with/without optimization but no success.

The bigger problem now is that once the external copy has been opened, the originals in the EXStar Hub folder (still on the internal drive) have an “X” in their “Recents” previews. Trying to open the projects from their dropdown menus only brings up “The file is corrupted. Are you sure you want to delete it?”

I can navigate to the internal drive original using the Open Project Group button but then the model texturing results are the same mess as the external version.

So…opening an external copy causes somehow permanent damage to the untouched original project!?!

I can still open and model/texture other projects - it’s only a problem if I’ve opened a copy from another drive, and then the original won’t texture properly.

Please advise. Thanks.
