We followed @three_oaks_concepts to break down his reverse engineering workflow—recreating a BMW E34 phone mount with a factory-like fit using EINSTAR Rockit.
Starting with Rockit, he scans the part from two angles → trims excess data → aligns the captures into a complete model. The mesh is then exported from EXStar Hub, brought into Fusion 360 for solid conversion and refinement, and optimized for fit and assembly. Scan → Align → Export → Model → STEP → Slice → Print.
From capture to final part, EINSTAR Rockit streamlines the entire reverse engineering workflow—making it faster and easier to turn real objects into functional, ready-to-print designs.
