Rigil - trackerless mode- how good is it now? Could it handle Tires without trackers now?

Last year I bought the Rigil as soon as it came out - and I was so dissapointed with it not being able to do trackerless mode at the time, that I sold the thing.

I am wondering with its latest updates- if it could handle scanning tires in laser mode with no trackers now.

Could anyone with a Rigil test scannining a tire for me?

If it can handle it without losing tracking I would consider buying it again. I have tried a couple other scanners since I sold the Rigil and I hated them both. I liked the quality I got from the Rigil but trackerless is a must for what I am doing.

Hi, emartin,
Marker-free laser scan is tracking based on the geometric feature of objects, it doesn’t support tracking objects with repetitive features or has less features. For the objects you shared in the screenshot, marker tracking is a better way.
