It seems to me that the interface can show, in red, the brightness level and it is up to the user to select something with a correct level of red. I would like to have an “auto” setting where the sof5ware sets it based on what it sees as a correct level. I would think that it should be able adjust real time as the lighting conditions change during scanning. We are constantly moving around and that changes the perceived ambient lighting the software sees.
Hi, cbliss
Thank you! real time auto brightness function is available in Fast mode currently, we will add it in HD mode in the future. If there is any misunderstanding of your suggestion, please let me know ![]()
I don’t see that option. Is it Vega only?
Yes, currently only VEGA support real-time auto exposure function.
If you want to adjust brightness when using EINSTAR scanning, click the physical button in real-time is convenient, we’ve received this suggestion, will evaluate and reply to you later.
Is there an upgrade / swap program to trade in an EinStar to a Vega?
