EINSTAR for scanning rooms for accurate measurment data?

Hello dear community! I am a happy user of the Aoralscan 3 in my practice and I am now in the process of ordering some custom cabinets for my renovated apartment. Since accurate measurments of the rooms are detrimental in such a process I was wondering if an Einstar handheld scanner would be accurate and efficient enough for such a task? Since I am not a proffesional carpenter and would basically use it just to measure a few rooms to have a peace of mind regarding accurate measurments I am looking into a budget friendly solution.
Thank you for your help and enjoy your day!

Hi, Mattdrm

Thanks for contacting us! We’d like to know the size of rooms and objects, and it would be great to get the picture of the room to see the features/color/surface materials to give you more specific suggestions; the accuracy and efficiency EINSTAR and VEGA are both enough.
Overall, EINSTAR VEGA would be a good option to scan room or cabinets.

Thank you for your response. Ataching some photos of the current state of the wall texture. Flooring will be done this week

sizes of the rooms a re about 15-40 square meters

Hello, for a handheld 3D scanner, it is very important that the scanning objects has sufficient geometric/texture features to ensure that the scanner can maintain tracking. The room you want to scan does not currently have enough features and requires a large number of markers to assist in completing the scan, which may not be practical for a room under renovation. If the room is fully decorated later with a lot of furniture and decorations, I recommend VEGA, as it has a larger FOV to complete this task smoother and faster; EINSTAR is not suitable. You can take a look at the following two rooms to understand what I mean by having sufficient geometric features:
