The Quality of the motorcycle scan is awful. Why isn’t there more Detail? Was it so hard to scan with the blacks? I think you had really the best possibly conditions in your well lighted indoor studio?
Or was it just a rough meshing with fastest settings on the Vega itself.
Could you share the Project, s we can get a Feeling what is possible with the VEGA, so that we can try to reproduce it in order to get better with our setup?

We made this video for beginner to know how to get a fast and smooth scanning for regular black objects. This is fast mode scanning result meshed with low resolution by the fast mesh option;
For detailed scanning data, we recommend to use HD mode and do a projects alignment, and for the project data, we will add HD mode alignment test and show the result,

Even with the brightness maxed out I still struggle with tracking on dark objects, even if they are non-reflective and geometrically rich.
could you share some pictures of your scanned object? which scan mode you were under?
