I was able to obtain a very beautiful scan with VEGA, so I wanted to upload the data from StarVision to Shining3D Digital Cloud and share it. However, when I actually upload it to Shining3D Digital Cloud, it appears that quite a bit of detail is lost and the image quality is reduced.
We’ve receive this feedback, will check if there is a issue exist.
Technically, there is a difference of model display between two platform, but the model will keep the same if others download it from SHINING 3D Ditial Cloud.
May I ask for the original 3D model you export from Starvision? it will be helpful to identify the issue, you can send it to me via private message if it is available, Thanks!
If we share it with the current display quality, there is a risk of misunderstanding that VEGA’s scanning capability is low. Therefore, it would be great if the high-quality display can also be achieved on SHINING 3D Digital Cloud.
The compressed file size is 415MB, which is quite large, so I will send you a download link via email.
Please be aware of the download environment as the file size is quite large.
The file is approximately 415MB, and it will expand to around 1.5GB when uncompressed.
I just realized that replying to an email also posts it as a reply on the forum.
I should have sent it via DM, but I apologize for not fully understanding the forum’s functionality.
The data itself is not something that would be problematic if seen by others, so it’s fine as it is.
We just evaluated the model. This phenomenon is caused by the model size. The browser side will compress large size model data to ensure complete and fast display that might cause insufficient display of details, while the actual downloaded model remains consistent.
Thank you very much.
I understand that this is a specification designed to ensure a smooth browsing experience.
However, there is a risk that users may mistakenly believe the scan quality is poor.
If possible, displaying a message such as “Simplified View Enabled” could help prevent misunderstandings.
