Hello!

I’ve been using the Einstar for more than a year now, it had its ups and downs, mostly downs to be honest and mostly this is due to very bad tracking at times, even when using reflective stickers.

I don’t mind, I will try my best to work around the quirks of this expensive all in one scanner which is not truly all in one because I have to go back to a PC to merge scans, and the software to do it in ( Starvision ) is probably the worst scanning software I’ve used for a long time, even worse than some brands that came 5 years ago.

It cannot align correctly, the meshing is very bad, it is very hard to remove floor like EXstar…

what I don’t understand, a cheaper model like the Einstar has the EXstar software which is by far the most superior software I used to date, I tried a few, and nothing beats EXstar ..

Why oh why can’t we use the EXstar with the VEGA?

I really really regret buying the VEGA, I am even trying to sell it and no one wants to buy it, even for a low price.

Can you guys make me feel that we didn’t waste a lot of money on this scanner? I do have faith in the scanner, but not so much in the software, I tried other brands, they have bad scanners but better software compared to the starvision.

This might be some of the best news I’ve heard from Einstar for a long time, Thank you for the update and looking forward to using EXStar with the VEGA!

I was also disappointed by the lack of flexibility and functionality in the Starvision software; it is simply not on the level of a 2000 euro scanner.

Hello! I just wanted to ask about if you can tell people when will the Einstar Vega will be added to EXStar hub software.

As of now my Einstar Vega is just a very expensive paper weight. I would like to use it more often.

Ich würde es auch gerne wissen wann die Software verfügbar ist für den Vega im mom Arbeite ich lieber mit dem Einstar als mit dem vega denke auch am Verkaufen vom Vega weil ich keinen einzigen guten Scan hinbekomme damit

Sie haben in einem anderen Post gesagt, dass der VEGA im 3. Quartal zum EXStar Hub hinzugefügt wird. Ich bezweifle allerdings, dass es Anfang Q3 sein wird, und ehrlich gesagt bezweifle ich auch, dass sie ihn überhaupt noch integrieren. Ich habe meinen verkauft, weil ich nicht mehr warten wollte. Ich warte lieber auf einen neuen All-in-One-Scanner von einer anderen Marke. Oder sie bringen ohnehin bald einen VEGA 2 heraus, da der VEGA in Q3 sowieso schon zwei Jahre alt ist.
