i am using Rigil. And I often using IR Scanning for some large objects.(if the object is flat, i can add some feature or marker on it ) I want to know which align mode should i choose to achieve the most accuracy of IR scan? is there any sequence and volumetic accuracy parameter between each align mode? (maker,feature,texture and hybird mode) As i know,marker mode should be the most accruacy, right? And how about the rest? Thank You
If you need highest accuracy in IR mode, Global marker is the best choice.
All alignment method can realize 0.1+0.4mm/m accuracy, hybrid alignment is mainly for higher efficiency and let the scanner able to cover more different type of objects and scanning scenario needs. No worries.
