Different bright projection line on two different Rockit scanners

I received my first Rockit scanner and noticed that in cross-line mode one projection line was significantly brighter than the others. The brighter line was coming from one specific projector module.

After discussing this with support, I received a replacement scanner.

However, the replacement scanner shows the same issue again, but now the brighter line comes from the opposite projector module.
So both scanners show an abnormally bright line in the cross-line projection pattern, just on different projectors.
I tested both scanners under different lighting conditions and surfaces. Cross-line mode frequently loses tracking and feels unstable during scanning, while the 7 parallel line mode works much more reliably.

I would like to ask other Rockit owners:

Do your scanners show one brighter line in the cross pattern?
Is this considered normal behavior?
Could this affect tracking stability in cross-line mode?

I could only attach one photo because of the forum attachment limitations, but both scanners show the same issue on different projector modules.

I had the same problem with a RockIt scanner I bought this winter. They replaced it with a new one under warranty, and it’s working perfectly.
