EXStar Hub SW crashing or freezing at 80% when meshing

EXStar Hub v1.0.1-1

Laptop: Intel i9-13900HX, 64GB RAM, RTX4070, SSD

I am trying to mesh small scan (5x2cm) aligned from top & bottom scan scanned with Rockit.

EXScan is eather crashing or hanging at 80%.

Tried several times and it’s really annoying not beeing able to get any successful mesh out of the SW.

Is this known issue?

Update: Found the reason for the crash which is 100% reproducable.

When using any watertight option than EXStar SW is crasing.

We have found and resolved this bug, will be fixed in the next update of the EXStar Hub software soon.

Issue is fixed with v1.0.3-7.

This 80% seems to be triggered by certain combination of factors. I am also stuck at this 80% and also chose “unwater tight”. The high triangle count could be a factor. I am travelling with my laptop, so I had no choice, but to do the meshing on my laptop. It just hangs, regardless of what options are switched off.
