Hi There, I want to purchase a Rigil Lite but before that I’d like to make sure my old M1 Laptop will be able to work with the software Exscan Rigil, so I installed the version 1.3.2-9 in my Macbook M1 in order to perform some tests before moving ahead with the order. Unfortunately, I can’t find any .conf file so I can open it and see how good or bad the performance actually is. I know that M1 is not even listed in the minimum requirements shown below. That’s why I would like to run some tests.
Does anyone have any experience by working with a M1-Macbook?
Where can I find a shared large .conf file I could use just to perform a test in my laptop?
Shall I just use the internal scanner’s software to make the heavy work of processing the mesh before exporting it to my macbook?
Your M1 laptop does not meet our minimum system requirements; attempting to run the processing on it may result in difficulties or significant lag. For day-to-day projects, we recommend processing them directly on your device. However, for particularly large projects, or if you have scanned a significant amount of data using an extremely small resolution, or if you have scanned multiple projects and are following a workflow that involves stitching them together using project alignment before processing the final data, we advise using a computer that meets our recommended specifications. Furthermore, Rigil’s scanning service in wired/wireless PC mode offers a larger screen and superior scanning performance, so a suitable computer will undoubtedly help you significantly improve your productivity and save time.
