Missing "Cutting Plane" feature in EXStar Hub (macOS) - Need Help! Rockit

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the EXStar Hub software on macOS.

I noticed that the “Cutting Plane” feature, which is available and works perfectly in the Windows version, seems to be missing in the macOS version. Is this feature currently not supported on Mac, or am I just looking in the wrong place?

My usual workflow is: Global Markers → Scan the turntable first → Create a Cutting Plane to ignore the table → Scan the object.

However, since I cannot find the Cutting Plane option, I am stuck at this stage. Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround?

Any help would be appreciated!

My System Specs:

  • Device: Mac Studio (M1 Max)

  • OS: macOS 26.2

  • Software: EXStar Hub v1.0.0.16

Thank you for your interest in this feature. It’s not yet available in the current version, but we’re actively working on it and plan to include it in a future update.

How far in the future is that? I mean, in a week or in three months? Is there any way you can give a more specific date?
