ExStar Hub v1.0.0.16 on MacOS 26.2 Crashes when confirming edit mesh (with lasso)

I’ve tried two MacOS machines that I have, both with v1.0.0.16. Once I press the button to confirm edit the app progress bar gets to about 18% and then crashes to a blank screen and needs re-opening. The file is in an icloud account, that might be applicable considering a similar issue I saw about OneDrive. Any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I downgraded to 1.0.0.15 and I’m having the same problem. Do a lasso, press apply and crash.

EDIT2: I was able to workaround by exporting the file as an OBJ, close the file and re-opening the OBJ in the post-processing section.

I’m on 1.0.0.16 on MacOS 26.3. This is my first time using Einstar and when I click on a tool such as lasso, it does nothing on the screen. The mouse remains an arrow and just rotates the object. I’m at a loss.
