ExStarHub 1.0.0-15 MAC, unable to connect wirelessly

Macbook Pro 16 M1 Max, 64GB, Tahoe 26.2
Mac OS can see the wifi network the rockit creates, ExstarHub shows no available connections.
Tried to use the refresh button multiple times.
Tried to connect via MacOS Wifi System controls to the WLAN the rockit creates, inputting the password according to manual.
Tried refreshing again in ExStarHub.

Cable connection works, firmware update was made on first connection, scanner was calibrated using cable.

This is exactly my experience as well, with both a Rockit, and Einstar 2, on an M2 Max MBP, running Tahoe 26.2.

Same for me on WiFi with Einstar 2, MBP M4 Pro on Tahoe 26.2. But I can’t even connect via Wired, getting connection failed.

Try t search for the Einstar Hotspot (named “Einstar_xxx”) then connect. If asked for a password use “EinstarRockit”.

To get to the HotSpot: After turning on press the “On” Button until the blue light on the scanner start flashing (in blue!).

Not being able to connect wired happened to me on the first try. There is a catch with MacOS you need to be aware of:

When connecting USB accessories you should get a pop-up asking you to allow connection to a certain USB accessory. On my first attempt I did not get the prompt and could not connect wired either. Used another USB port on my MacbookPro and got the popup prompt. After allowing the Scanner once I now can use it wired on all USB ports.

This behaviour can be disabled in system preferences, see:

@EINSTAR-TC I think this should explicitly be mentioned in the manual of the MacOS version of ExStarHub

Did exactly that. Manually connecting the scanner is not the issue. The issue is that the software does not recognize the wirelessly (manually) connected scanner either.

Thank you for your valuable feedback! We will take a good look at it

Seems like it was a cable issue on my end. Works connecting with it to my mac with the Einstar included USB-C cable. My bad. So now I’ve upgraded the firmware on the scanner as well.

And when I had upgraded the firmware I managed to connect to it wirelessly as well. Now I’m running firmware v1.20 so that seems to be required.
