I’m planning to buy an Einstar Rockit, but I’m not sure if my hardware is up to the task. Maybe someone here can tell me if it’ll work with my setup. I’d really appreciate it!
My main focus is mobile scanning. Any post-processing will be done later in the office on my desktop PC.
My desktop should be capable:
- Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
- 64 GB DDR5-6000 CL30
- NVIDIA RTX 5080 16 GB ASTRAL
- 4 TB M.2 NVMe SSD
- Wi-Fi 7
I’m just not sure about my laptop since it’s a bit older:
- Dell Precision 7670
- Intel Core i9-12950HX
- 64 GB DDR5 CAMM
- NVIDIA RTX A3000 12 GB
- 500 GB M.2 NVMe SSD
- Wi-Fi 6E

This system far exceeds every requirement. It will handle even the heaviest post‑processing with no issues at all.
3. Your Laptop (Dell Precision 7670: i9‑12950HX, RTX A3000 12 GB, 64 GB DDR5, Wi‑Fi 6E)
It fully meets our recommendations. The 12th‑Gen i9 performs on par with or above the 13th‑Gen i7‑13700H, and the professional RTX A3000 with 12 GB VRAM is more than adequate. Wi‑Fi 6E ensures stable wireless scanning.
So both machines are perfectly capable. You can confidently purchase the Einstar Rockit.
