I recently bought at Shining3D scanner. I have a Lenovo laptop with USB-C Thunderbolt. My CPU is sufficient but not my GPU. The minimum requirements are too confusing. I would be grateful for a recommended eGPU package: enclosure, card, and whatever options I need to choose. I want something middle of the road, neither top of the line nor bottom. Ideally something I can buy in Canada without weeks of shipping delays. Suggestions?
I just bought the aoostar ag02 and a rtx5070, which is pretty middle of the road all round. Seems to work fine, will report back at a later date once I’ve put it through it’s paces more. My decision was based on the inbuilt power supply and the 100W USB-C charging allowing my mini-pc to run directly off one cable to it.
Hi, Einstar. I don’t understand. Another user, fins, just said they are using an aoostar ag02 and an rtx5070. Who is right?
We have not officially validated the feasibility of this approach and therefore cannot make a definitive commitment. While it is theoretically possible, so we suggested: it would be prudent to directly use a computer that meets the required specifications out of caution.
The RTX5070 is okay, should work properly.
