Just got my Vega, and I have a few questions about Starvision

Is there any way to not have to press shift to select when editing scan data?
Is there any way to change keyboard shortcuts? Can this feature be added?
Is there also a tolerance option for the connected domain feature? it seems to be a bit overzealous with gaps, selecting things that are far apart.
Is the cutting plane tool from the Einscan software?
Will EXModel integration come to Starvivion?

  1. Holding the Shift key to select data is designed to differentiate between preview and edit actions, ensuring safe operations. For now, we will not make changes to this behavior. If you encounter special situations where Shift cannot be used, please leave a detailed description, and we will evaluate it.
  2. StarVision custom shortcut keys – Your suggestion has been received. We will gather commonly used key operations before finalizing the plan. You are welcome to share frequently used functions with us.
  3. ”tolerance option for the connected domain feature“This request has been received.
  4. Auto cutting plane will be supported in the next version.
  5. VEGA will be integrated with the EXStar software in the future.
