Upgraded ExStar Hub to 1.0.6 and I’m having major issues with full body scans, tried it 3 times but still looks like shit when moving on to post-processing (looks fine before).
Anyone know where I can find 1.0.4 or 1.0.5 so I can verify if it’s the software that’s the problem?

Is it even letting you generate point clouds?
Worked flawlessly on the first try with 1.0.5. Something seems to be majorly broken in 1.0.6.
My files corrupted and I lost everything from the past week.

Sorry about this, you mean that you were unable to generate point clouds or other issues?
I have an open ticket and have not heard anything all morning after I was told I would contacted this morning at 7:00 a.m. ET we are trying to figure out through technical support if all of the is a device issue and we are trying to work through the process of returning the scanner or making an exchange.
I have now upgraded to 1.0.8.5 and performed the required firmware upgrade on the scanner, but IR scans are still a total mess. It looks OK in scan mode, but when performing “Generate Points Cloud” it completely destroys the model.
Since I upgraded the firmware I cannot revert to 1.0.5 of EXStar Hub any longer so the scanner is basically as useful as a brick now.
Is it possible to somehow revert the firmware on the scanner so I can use it again?
Yeah sure, if you are not satisfied with the latest version of software, you can go back to the older one and downgrade the firmware version. Pls visit Submit a ticket : Einstar Support and our engineers will help you ASAP
