When aligning the pointcloud to the coordinates using primites all the alignment and primites are lost when moving to other menu point.
Alignment data and primites must be saved and set permanently in the project.
This is MAJOR ISSUE!
This is really super annoying!!!

Please provide solution for this like all other scanning SW are supporting this.

The 1.0.4.3 version seems a bit old, have you tried update the software to the latest?
It is not a software related issue, it’s a design related issue.
The painful problem with the Shining3d scanning software is:
- Mesh is getting lost in the project file (export is not a solution!)
- Alignment is getting lost in the project file
- Measurements are getting lost in the project file
It’s so annoying to not being able to save the mesh + alignment + measurement in the project file. Next time you come back everything is lost !!!
All other scanning software i know are able to save mesh + alignment + measurement in the project file and there is no reason not to support this.
Rockit is such a great scanner but this lack of basic functionality really annoys me all the time i am using it. Please provide solution to save mesh + alignment + measurements in the project file.
