We are using two Rigil scanners for a year now, and an HX for 3+ years.
In the EinScan HX software I can export all the projects in a group at once by right-click → select all then right-click → save, but in the Rigil software I can’t do that. If I try to export all the selected projects, it just saves one. Every “Export the scan” saves only one project. Could you make it possible to save all the projects, because saving 20-30 projects one-by-one is tedious.
The other bug is that the Rigil software doesn’t save the projects alignment. In the HX software, after I aligned the projects, it saves their alignment. So, when I open the group again the projects are aligned. But in the Rigil software after closing and reopening the group, the projects are scattered. Is there a way to save their alignment to the group or is this considered a bug?
As for question one: Pls be noted that EinScan Rigil indeed support selecting all the projects scanned with the standalone device and then exporting them to the PC software EXScan Rigil. You can refer to the picture below.Pls note that the software now only support exporting the point cloud data from device to the PC software.
if you want solid mesh, then you can either choose to process and export one-by-one on PC software or mesh all the data on device and use USB drive mode to export the mesh.
As for question 2: Unable to save the result after project alignment
Regarding Rigil, whether on the hardware or software side, once you have merged the files and clicked ‘Apply’, the project will open in the merged state every time. For detailed instructions on how to merge the data, you can refer to the tutorial video below.

I select all, click on save, but it only saves one. In the HX software it saves all at once.
As for the alignment, I followed the instructions, but it only saved the last aligned part. The others were scattered after reopening the project group.
Aligned Project_2 to Project_1, then aligned Project_3 to Project_2. It shows that everything is aligned, but after reopening the project group, Project_2 is not aligned.
Yes, I didn’t align Project_3 to the aligned_group, because in our everyday scans there are a lot of similarities and it won’t find the perfect alignment. (Like vehicle wheels and door panels)

I did a test on my EXScan Rigil PC software and found I can export 2 projects’ point cloud data at the same time.Pls check my screenshot below. They are all named as “dddd”, however, there are different project group suffixes at the end.
Judging by the video you have provided, there is indeed a project that has not been merged when opened for the second time. Please send the video to einstarsupport, One of our engineers will be in touch with you.
I am using the latest v1.3.2-7 EXScan Rigil software, Win11, run as administrator.
Tried your suggestion regarding the export method, but it didn’t work for me. It only saved one project. I even tried with a project group, that contains only 2 projects, but it only saved one too.
