I recently purchased an Einstar Vega and I’m trying to connect the device to my computer. My Vega software is patched to the latest version.
It’s over USB 3, and when I connect over the provided cable, I can see that my computer recognizes some device. It is labelled as “TX3”. However, my Vega does not provide a prompt to allow the selection of File Transfer mode as per the documentation and instructions in StarVision.
How do I connect the Vega to my computer for post-processing?
I have the same issue, the result is the store i bought it for is going to swap for their display unit and trouble shoot this with einstar themselves because ive been talking with their technical support for over two weeks now with no resolution. absolutely ridiculous
Dear customers;
We have received your tickets, this connection issue will be solved the next version in Oct. Thank you for your tolerance and patience.
My file transfers were working until I updated Starvision on my laptop to version 1.1.0-16 today. I checked inbound rules and Starvision is set to Allow.
Uninstalled and reinstalled v1.1.0.16 still no file transfers. Uninstalled v1.1.0.16 and installed v1.0.0.45 that was luckily still on my laptop and file transfers work again. Seems the new software broke this function for me.
I got on a call with Shining support late last week and during the call, my Vega was prompted for a new firmware update. When I updated the Vega to 1.1.0-16 (to match the StarVision 1.1.0-16), everything just worked.
I am having the same issue, I could only connect to my computer for file transfer over WiFi with Starvision software 1.0.0.45 but cannot connect to the computer via the provided cable on any Starvision version.
