I bought an Einstar Rockit, but the ExstarHub software cannot connect to my device. I am using a MacBook; my laptop can see and connect to the Einstar Rockit hotspot, but the software—while it detects the device—fails to establish a connection. Is there a solution? Otherwise, I would like to return it, as the wireless connectivity was precisely what drew me to buy it in the first place.

Hi, sorry for the inconveniences that caused. Pls make sure that you activate the scanner first using a wire connection first, the scanner need to be activated and the activation can only be done in wire connection mode. Do you have problem connecting the scanner using the original USB cable?Pls also make sure that you’re using the latest software version and had give the EXStar Hub Location Permissions, there will be a notification when you set up the software, maybe you can also try reinstall the software from the official portal.
hi, the software is the last, the scanner works using original usb cable, was activated and calibrated using this cable, open tiket and send log file to support team but no answer at this time, I’m looking for a solution so I don’t have to return it since the wireless collection is one of the main reasons why I bought this scanner
OK,can you inform me with your ticket number? We’ll reach out to you ASAP
Pls use terminal to open /Applications/EXStar\ Hub.app/Contents/Frameworks/Sn3DprocessManager
and try again?
One question: does the Wi-Fi connection only work when running this command? I ask because if I close the exStarHub, it won’t reconnect unless I run the command.
