I’m trying to connect my Rockit to the EXStar Hub, and it wants to be both connected to the internet and to the scanner, but I can only connect to one at a time. If I connect to the scanner in EXStar it’ll select it as a hotspot for my computer. This all wouldn’t be a big deal if I didn’t have to be connected to the internet to calibrate and update the firmware on the device. I can’t force my computer to not use it as a network device. No matter what I do, EXStar Hub will immediately connect to it and disconnect my internet when I press connect. Any ideas or workarounds? I’m currently windows 10 and using a netgear nighthawk a7500 wifi adapter to connect to things.
For calibration you could connect the scanner via supplied USB cable and calibrate wired.
I got it working. I found a usb-c plug on the back of my computer that works. The one on the front is broken, and the instructions said to “plug in using usb 3.0 cable” so I was trying to use a usb 3.0 to usb-c cable.
Lesson learned; use the included c to c cable.
Thank you for the response.
