ETA on a dark mode for StarVision.
The bright white does hurt my eyes and is hard to see the pointcloud.
Also is there a way to just process the pointcloud for export. If exported as is, the quality is pretty low

Dear xile,
Thank you for your suggestion; we have received your feedback. The dark mode for StarVision is currently under development, and the device now supports switching between dark and light modes, which you can modify in the “Settings.” Regarding your request for point cloud processing and direct export, could you please provide more details about your application scenario and main objectives? We have also received your feedback on another topic, and our technical team will follow up with you further.
I explained it some in the other thread but i will post here also to keep it all together.
The point cloud is not optimized, fused or generated correctly for use in other programs.
When using an Einstar or other scanners for that matter.
You scan and get RAW data.
Then fuse or generated an optimized point cloud.
Then you would mesh that point cloud into a solid model file normally stl or obj.
Vega and StarVision does not do this.
The point cloud it creates is left as raw or unprocessed.
When i bring it into other software, for example Geomagic the point cloud is
very low quality. All it does mesh into a blob.

This is meshing that point cloud in Geomagic.

And the view of the same point cloud in StarVision.

If i mesh it in StarVision, yes i get a high quality model, as below.

But i would like just a point cloud to work with.
Ive been easily able to do this in ExStar with Einstar and with all other 3d scanners i own.
This is a fused point cloud from another scanner i own.

So something is not right with the point cloud output of the Vega.
I had more frame count on the Vega then the other scanner.
And here is and Einstar point cloud of the same figure. Probably way to small for the Einstar. Settings i use are Small item, Resolution 0.2mm.

And that same Einstar point cloud meshed in Geomagic. Which looks way better then the Vega exported point cloud meshed in Geomagic.

Can you tell me how or why the Vega point cloud is so low and lower the the Einstar
