Transfering upgrade file but It's been stuck at just 0% for hours.

Hello everybody. My Einstar2 is connected to my computer original via cable, and I’ve activated the device. I received a warning that there’s a software-firmware incompatibility and that I need to upgrade the device. However, the upgrade starts but doesn’t progress. It stays at 0%. I followed the forum instructions for firewall and other settings and applied them, but without success. I’m looking for support.

Exactly the same problem on my einstar rockit, 0% and nothing happens

Pls be advised that this is a problem related to PC permission settings, we have seen your problem is now resolved:)

Pls try reinstalling the software through below link.

Download EXStar Hub (Desktop software for Einstar Rockit & Einstar 2) : Einstar Support

If you still have issue after reinstalling, pls submit feedback through the software, our engineers will soon reach out to you.

I’ve tried disabling the firewall, whitelisting all applications in the Applications folder, running everything as administrator, and changing internet providers. I’ve even tried disabling unnecessary network adapters, but nothing happens. The indicator just freezes at 0% and doesn’t move.

Because it’s stuck at 0%, it’s impossible to provide feedback through the program. I can only exit by closing the program.

We may have missed something. Please help us too. I’ve turned off the firewall, whitelisted programs, and disabled antivirus. I even downgraded the system from Windows 11 to Windows 10. Still nothing.

Sorry for the inconveniences that caused, pls submit a ticket at einstar_support@shining3d.com and we’ll reach out to you ASAP

You can disconnect the scanner and the update will be disabled without disabling the program.

May I know what country you are from?

i am in turkey

I’m already working with the latest version. I’ve been dealing with the same error on previous versions, including Windows 11 and Windows 10. I’ve tried using a VPN with both local and mobile internet. 3D Grande also provided remote support. The result: the device is connected via the original cable and online, but it’s still stuck at 0%.

I connected the Einstar 2 to a MacBook M4 16GB and the firmware update completed without any problems. I used the same cable I use for my desktop PC during this process. Then I reconnected the device to my desktop Windows PC, and it worked flawlessly, both wired and wirelessly. That’s how I solved the problem. I hope the software becomes more stable and works flawlessly in all environments. Thank you everyone. Best regards…
